Ingredients

  • Cauliflower (chopped)
  • Onion (sliced)
  • Salt
  • Cilantro
  • Green chilli
  • Maize flour
  • Wheat flour

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add:
    • Measured maize flour
    • Measured wheat flour
    • Chopped cauliflower
  2. Add spices:
    • Salt
    • Red chilli
    • Cumin seeds
    Mix well.
  3. Add:
    • Cilantro
    • Chopped green chilli
    • Sliced onion
    Mix again.
  4. Squeeze 1 lemon over the mixture and mix well.
  5. Slowly add water until everything combines. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Take a pan, add 1 tsp oil, and heat on low flame.
  7. Drop fritter mixture into the hot oil one by one.
  8. Flip when the underside turns brown.
  9. Cook until golden and crisp.
  10. Cauliflower fritters are ready. Serve with homemade sauce.
